Sept 2010: Enchantment Resort a luxury resort located in Sedona,
AZ.The resort has deployed IRIS CMTS to power it's guest and corporate internet service. The resort is
powered by IRIS CMTS and cable modems which provide both wired and wireless high speed
internet to its guests. Cable modems enabled with multiple Wi-Fi SSID provide 802.11 b/g/n network for both the resort
guests and corporate telephony needs. The new infrastructure
will enable the resort to provide telephony and video on demand
services while having to maintain just the coaxial network
infrastructure. In the past the resort had tried various
solutions from Tut systems and likewise without the reliability
needed to run a demanding network. The solution provided by
Coaxial Networks provides 24x7 monitoring capability so that the
resort's engineering department knows when a access point is
down.
Nov 2003: Coaxial Networks Receives Investments from INC3 Ventures.Coaxial Networks Inc, a Santa Clara, California based
networking company announced today that it has received funding from INC3
ventures. The investment will be utilized for further product development and
expanding sales and marketing team. Dhimant Bhayani, Managing Director of INC3
ventures will be joining the board of Coaxial Networks Inc.
July 2003: Coaxial Networks introduces EuroDOCSIS IRIS CMTS.Coaxial Networks, a Santa Clara, California based
networking company announced today that it has introduced and is shipping Euro-DOCSIS
version of its IRIS CMTS. All the product lines DC1100 and DC1200 are now
available in Euro-DOCSIS compatible mode. The part numbers for these are DC1100E
and DC1200E. The Euro-DOCSIS compatible IRIS provides a 52Mbps for 256QAM and
36Mbps for 64QAM at 6.952 Mega symbols per second. Upstream operating Frequency
range is from 5 to 65 MHz. All Euro-DOCSIS models also have a transmitter
channel spacing of 8MHz.
